It’s Not Too Late: Respond to Hurricane Isaac

“The people down here need comfort. Some of them just lost everything they own… above all though, they need to hear the hope that comes from Christ.”

World Race Alumnus and Louisiana resident Tommy Chapman went to eleven countries to help brothers and sisters in any way he could – and now it’s his turn to call out for help.

We’ve given our support, love, prayers and time, answering cries for help from all over the world.

It’s time for us to do the same for those in our own backyard.

Some from our Adventures family have called out for our help to come and be immediate responders in New Orleans, helping in any way we can, those affected by Hurricane Isaac.

Alumnus World Racer Ralph Kelley talked about the physical and emotional damage that has torn through the streets of a city that is all too familiar with hurricanes.

One day we are going about our normal lives and the next we have no place to call home. We may have a tree through our roof (if the storm didn’t take it away), a house that is flooded, or maybe even a house that isn’t even there anymore.”

Now is your chance to get involved. You can be the answer to their prayers – whether it’s comforting a child, or removing debris.

This is the moment where your faith explodes off of the page and into an adventure that is bigger and more meaningful than anything you could have imagined.
